Computer Vision is a discipline of AI concerned with extracting information from visual data (images and video), replicating and enhancing human vision capabilities. The course is structured to explore Computer Vision techniques in depth. In particular, the course will be aimed at the agricultural and agri-food sector, where it plays a highly strategic role, as it is not merely a "useful" technology but a genuine enabling factor for the agriculture of the future, often referred to as Agriculture 4.0 or Smart Agriculture.
