Human-centric artificial intelligence: understanding, managing and applying AI

Training course designed to guide company management in acquiring the core competencies needed to use and manage artificial intelligence within their organization. The initiative aims to promote an AI culture that is ethical, transparent and centred on the human person, integrating technology into innovative processes without losing sight of the human role. The course meets the requirements of Law 132/2025 – references for mandatory training, starting from 2 August 2026, intended for Public Administrations (PA) and companies to fulfil the training obligations set out by the EU Regulation on Artificial Intelligence (AI Act). Objective: To provide participants with the essential technical, regulatory and practical knowledge needed to understand, govern and apply AI systems in compliance with the new European and national regulations (AI Act). The programme also aims to foster AI literacy, helping participants recognise how algorithms work, critically assess their limitations, risks and ethical aspects, and ensure a responsible and sustainable use of emerging technologies. The course is organised according to a new Business Lectures format in which sessions are structured into thematic modules, addressing three core areas in an integrated way: Inspirational session Guidelines, state of the art and trends. Strategic insights Technical deep-dive session Analysis and discussion of technical, legal and organisational aspects Technical fundamentals, focused on understanding how AI systems work, interpreting outputs, and analysing the performance and limitations of algorithms; Regulatory fundamentals, exploring the AI Act references, the risks of AI systems and their management; Applied hands-on training session Experiences and applied solutions Operational fundamentals, with hands-on lab applications aimed at exploring and using AI in daily work.
